The timing of the premiere of competitor Audi Q5 and BMW X3 from GenesisApril 28, 2020
The luxury brand Hyundai – Genesis – will show the new serial crossover GV70 in October this year, informs TheKoreanCarBlog portal on Tuesday, April 28. This model will compete with the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
In its own dimensions, a premium SUV with a coupe-shaped body will be located between the Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe models. In appearance, the car will be similar to the “senior” crossover GV80, which was shown at the beginning of 2020. She will also get a similar 2-level optics front and rear.
It is assumed that in the motor gamut of the novelty there will be a new 4-cylinder 304-horsepower Theta III engine with a volume of 2.5 liters, and another 6-cylinder engine with a 3.5 liter capacity of 380 hp. Together with both power plants will operate an 8-speed automatic transmission. At the same time, the diesel variation of the model will not work.
The latest Genesis novelty was the second-generation mid-size G80 sedan, which debuted at the end of March this year. The car became much lighter than its predecessor, received modern electronic systems, and also began to resemble the cross GV80.
