The tests saw the prototype of the electric station wagon Porsche Taycan Cross TurismoJune 22, 2020
Journalists captured the prototype of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo electric station wagon. Presentation of new items will be held at the end of this year.
Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is an electric station wagon from the German brand. It is already known that the official presentation of the new items is scheduled for the end of this year. We have already seen test prototypes of this model more than once. This time, the automaker’s team tested the station wagon along with the Porsche Taycan sedan on which it is based.
Just like the previous “spy” photos that we saw in April, the body of the Taycan Cross Turismo is not very protected from prying eyes by camouflage film. The only disguises you’ll see are around the taillights that will
differ from those installed on the Porsche Taycan sedan.
Naturally, the Cross Turismo station wagon is largely based on the same architecture as the Porsche Taycan sedan. It is worth noting that this is one of the first versions of the first electric car of the German automaker – further more variations will be presented.
A universal novelty will receive the same electric power plant, the power of which will be from 530 to 761 horsepower, depending on the configuration.
As mentioned above, the Taycan Cross Turismo will be presented closer to the end of this year. This was possible to learn from the March Porsche conference, which summed up the results for 2019. It also turned out that the all-electric version of the compact Macan crossover will debut in 2022.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote about how the electric Porsche Taycan Turbo S sedan drives on the autobahn. The German electric Porsche Taycan sedan in the powerful Turbo S performance shows its high-speed capabilities on the autobahn – a section of the road with no speed limit.
