The tests saw a prototype of the updated Volkswagen Transporter T7August 25, 2019
Some цуиішеуі publish “spy” photos of the Volkswagen Transporter T7 generation. The German novelty will be built on a modular platform MQB.
Exactly a year ago, the test mule of the German T7 generation Transporter van / minivan was discovered. At that time, Volkswagen specialists tested a hybrid powerplant. This was one of the first seventh-generation Transporter test rides, which is reported to receive the modular MQB platform as the basis.
Despite the fact that recently we were shown a restyled Volkswagen Transporter version T6.1, the German brand is already in full swing working on the next generation of the popular minivan / van.
Here we publish “spy” photos of the long-awaited news.
It is noteworthy that the seen test mule T7 has a longer front end compared to the current Transporter T6. It is reported that the production car will receive a heavily modified exterior. Of course, at this stage, the changes are hard to notice.
As already mentioned, the upcoming T7 will presumably be built on the MQB platform, which will allow the use of several types of motors – conventional and electrified. In addition, since T7 will be based on the MQB platform, reports also suggest that the names Caddy and Sharan will become part of the T7 family.
