The tests of the first electric car Porsche showed on videoMarch 13, 2018
Porsche continues winter tests of its first electric car. The video of the tests was laid out by the publication Motor1. According to them, the serial version of the novelty will be called Mission E and will be presented in 2019.
The assembly of the machine will be adjusted at the plant in Stuttgart. The price for the car will be about 85 000 dollars. Thus, the “green” sports car will not be more expensive than the basic version of the Panamera model.
The serial version of the electric sports car will retain the basic stylistic features of the prototype Mission E, presented in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The main difference will be the standard rear doors, which will replace the rear doors of the concept car, opened against the direction of motion.
Porsche confirmed that the range of the novelty will be about 500 kilometers. Charging the battery by 80% takes only 15 minutes. In motion, the machine will most likely be driven by two electric motors.
The prototype Porsche Mission E was equipped with two electric motors, located on the front and rear axle. In total, the units develop more than 600 horsepower, so the Porsche Mission E can accelerate from place to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds
