The tests noticed an updated liftback Kia Stinger GTMay 7, 2020
Journalists captured the updated version of the Kia Stinger GT sports liftback. A strongly camouflaged prototype of the novelty can get a more powerful Twin-Turbo V6.
Despite the fact that the South Korean sports liftback Kia Stinger may well disappear from the automaker’s price lists due to low demand, the Kia team is testing an updated version of the model right now. Foreign publications have kindly shared “spy” photos of the camouflaged prototype of the novelty, which were made somewhere in Europe. Despite the abundance of camouflage, it is already obvious that outwardly, a stylish car will receive minor changes.
In fact, the current Stinger can be called one of the most attractive models in its segment, so that big changes in its design may not benefit him.
Inside, there will be a 10.25-inch display of the infotainment system and a virtual driver display. Kia could “decorate” the interior by offering additional upholstery and decoration options.
It is reported that under the hood there will be a modernized 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine – it will receive more power. According to rumors, the output will increase from the current 365 hp. (510 Nm) up to 380 hp (528 Nm). In addition, the Stinger GT uses a new variable valve exhaust system. The regular version of the model (not GT) should also be updated and can get a 2.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 290 hp. (420 Nm).
Kia is expected to introduce the updated Stinger GT in its domestic market in July.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the KIA Optima GT was noticed on public roads. Such a modification will become the most powerful in the entire history of the model.
