The tests noticed a high-performance Jaguar F-Pace SVRJuly 4, 2020
The prototype of the updated British crossover undergoes high-speed tests on the Nurburgring. His debut should take place before the end of this year.
Jaguar Land Rover is currently experiencing financial difficulties and may even abandon some of its existing models in the future in order to reduce costs. Nevertheless, all brand models that are currently under development will not be excluded from the price list of the company. One of these cars is the updated F-Pace crossover in the high-performance version of the SVR.
A video has appeared on YouTube that demonstrates the camouflaged prototype F-Pace, which is undergoing high-speed tests on the Nurburgring track.
The prototype is still hidden under camouflage film, but we have at least a basic idea of what visual changes can be.
As the previous “spy” images confirm, more significant changes should be visible in front, in particular, the design of the bumper will change. In addition, the grilles are likely to get new patterns, while the headlights can be slightly modified.
Most likely, there will be no significant technical updates under the hood of a high-performance crossover. The F-Pace SVR will continue to be equipped with the same 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 550 horsepower (680 Nm). The same automatic transmission with eight speeds will be offered as a transmission.
Jaguar did not say a word about the debut date of the updated SVR F-Pace, but we still expect to see the long-awaited new product by the end of the year, despite the outbreak of coronavirus, which has already delayed (or even canceled) a number of interesting presentations in 2020.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the Jaguar I-Pace electric car received a technical update. Electric Jaguar I-Pace got an update on the technical side. This was announced on Tuesday, June 23, in the press center of the British company.
