The successor of the flagship sedan Cadillac CT6 will receive an electric motor
March 13, 2020 The head of the American company told reporters about the possibility of the appearance of the receiver luxury sedan Cadillac CT6. It is possible that we are talking about an electric car. The exact timing of the appearance of such a car is not called.
Cadillac is facing a fast-paced car market. Electric and autonomous cars appear at a time when consumers continue to be interested in crossovers, SUVs and trucks. Cadillac hastened to meet growing demand by introducing completely new representatives of these types of vehicles. In addition, the brand management decided to discontinue the production of the large luxury sedan Cadillac CT6.
In a recent interview with Cadillac President Steve Carlisle, he was asked a couple of questions about the future of the CT6 and its possible receivers.
Carlisle told the publication that if the CT6 successor appears, it will most likely be an electric car. According to the Cadillac boss, electric cars are the future. The likelihood of CT6 coming back soon seems unlikely. After all, model sales have fallen quite recently.
More likely, the luxury sedan may return to the brand lineup over time as an electric car. Just last week, Cadillac announced not one, but two new electric cars – the Lyriq crossover, and the flagship Celestiq sedan.
