The sports version of the crossover Audi Q8 photographed without camouflageAugust 21, 2019
At the disposal of the publication Carscoops were spy shots of the sports RS-modification of the Q8 crossover, which was photographed with virtually no camouflage. It is assumed that the car will debut before the end of 2019.
Judging by the photos, the appearance of the new items will be performed in the style typical of the RS line. In particular, the crossover will receive large air intakes at the edges of the grille with red inserts, enlarged side “skirts”, as well as two wide exhaust pipes.
As for the powertrain, presumably, the Audi RS Q8 will be equipped with a four-liter V8 engine with two turbines, which is used on the Lamborghini Urus. At the same time, it is expected that engine output will be reduced from 650 to about 600 horsepower.
Earlier it became known that Audi will introduce six new or updated “charged” cars from the RS line by the end of 2019. In particular, we are talking about the next-generation 600-strong RS6 Avant station wagon, which will premiere in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
In addition, the German brand should release crossovers RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback, which will be equipped with a 2.5-liter supercharged five-cylinder engine with a capacity of about 400 horsepower. Finally, it is possible that this year the company from Ingolstadt will present the RS7 Sportback sports hatchback, equipped with a four-liter V8 that produces about 600 forces.
