The smallest Seat lost a three-door versionAugust 3, 2018
From now on, the Seat Mii hatchback is only available in a five-door body – the production of the three-door model is discontinued. The reason for such a decision in the company was not named. Most likely, this modification was abandoned due to low demand. The “twins” VW up! and Skoda Citigo three-door versions while remain in the ranks. Recall, all three hatch produced in 2011 at the plant in Bratislava.
Five-door Seat Mii is offered in three trim levels: Style, Chic and FR Line. In the base version the model has: 14-inch wheels, air conditioning, ESP, driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags, infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB. In the version Chic there are two-color 15-inch wheel disks, the steering wheel and the gear lever of this hatch are upholstered in leather, there are chrome inserts in the interior. Finally, Mii FR Line gets 16-inch wheels, tinted rear windows and reconfigured suspension. For an additional charge for Mii, you can order heated seats, heated exterior mirrors, LED daytime running lights, rain and light sensors, parking sensors and cruise control.
The compact hatch Seat can be bought with a three-cylinder atmospheric 1.0 power of 60 or 75 hp. and a liter 68-horsepower engine running on compressed gas. Transmission – five-speed manual or automatic.
In Spain, the price of “five-door” starts from 9 590 euros.
Seat Mii has the weakest sales among the three-doors versions, in addition, the demand for the model of the Spanish brand is falling. So, in 2017 in Europe, 15 412 Seat compacts (three- and five-door versions) were sold, which is 4,470 less than in 2016. For comparison, hatch Skoda Citigo in the past year sold in the Old World in a circulation of 35 698 units (2,966 units less than a year earlier), and sales volume of VW up! for the same period amounted to 100,715 pieces (3,879 units more than in 2016).
