The Silk Road will pass through three countries in 2020October 31, 2019
The tenth anniversary edition of the Silk Road international rally will run from July 3 to July 16, 2020 and will for the first time become the FIA World Cup rally-raid stage. The race route will be laid across Russia, Kazakhstan and China.
The launch of the Silk Way anniversary rally will be given on July 3, 2020 on Red Square in Moscow. After several days on the roads and off-road of Russia, the participants are waiting for the majestic desert landscape of southern Kazakhstan. Then the riders will spend a rest day that will allow all participants to take a breath, after which they will go to the Chinese stages, which will be laid again among the giant dunes of the Gobi Desert. The race will finish in Urumqi on July 16 and mark the completion of a route of about 8,000 kilometers.
“We are preparing a first-class route for our participants with several surprises, which we will announce in a month,” said project manager Vladimir Chagin. “We are required to prepare an interesting rally that will simultaneously meet the special requirements of the FIA and FIM.” The Silk Road Rally is a unique competition. Each participant will confirm that they look forward to us everywhere with great impatience, and this is very important. With the help of the rally, we want to introduce you to the locals, demonstrate their culture and the beauty of their regions. ”
