The modification for the Chinese market has become noticeably larger than the version that is sold in the United States.
On Friday, April 3, the American concern General Motors announced the official start date for sales of the extended version of the Chevrolet Blazer. Exhibition samples began to arrive at Chinese dealers in mid-March, and official sales of new items are scheduled for April 16 this year. The modification of the SUV for China will have three rows of seats. For this, the length of the car increased by 137 mm and reached a value of 4,999 mm. At the same time, the wheelbase remained at the level of 2,863 mm. The width of the novelty was 1,953 mm, and the height of 1,727 mm.
In the interior, we note the appearance of a modern multimedia system with a 10-inch screen, an updated instrument panel. The second row of seats has become more comfortable – a separate climate control unit is designed for passengers. Customers will also be able to count on a panoramic roof.
The new Chevrolet Blazer will be driven by a 2.0-liter engine with a return of 230 hp. and 9-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to this combination, the manufacturer promises low gas mileage. Four-wheel drive is by default. Note that the novelty will be sold only in the RS version with a sports design. Its distinctive features will be red accents on the body, a spectacular black radiator grille and rims with the effect of tinting. The cost is already known – it will be 238,900 yuan
