The revival of the Italian company Bizzarrini continues, as evidenced by the development of two new models at once.

Bizzarrini was born in the 1960s and did not last long, perhaps best known for its 5300 GT sports car. The company was founded by former Ferrari engineer Giotto Bizzarrini, who led the development of the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO, and, incredibly, he is also involved in the creation of modern Bizzarrini.

The current team also included Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, founder of Italdesign (though he has since founded a new design studio that he currently runs) and the man behind the original 5300 GT.

Modern brand Bizzarrini plans to offer a revised 5300 GT as well as a new model also designed by Giugiaro. True, there is little information about it, but it is reported that it will be a sports car with an internal combustion engine. The company describes it as the “Bizzarrini of a new era”.

The continuation of the 5300 GT model will be limited to only 24 pieces. The newest car will be called the 5300 GT Revival Corsa 24/65, and like the original, it will have a lightweight composite body over a tubular steel frame. The cabin will have two seats and a roll cage designed to FIA specifications.

There will be a few modern touches, mainly in the area of security. In addition to the roll cage, there will be an FIA-compliant fuel tank at each corner, independent rear suspension and disc brakes.

The power plant will be a period-specific 5.3-liter V-8 with Weber carburetors, with a maximum output of 400 to 480 horsepower.
