The render showed the Mercedes S-Class Coupe 2021, which will remain fictionalSeptember 5, 2020
Images of the two-door version of the new S-class were posted on social networks. The project turned out to be very interesting, but such a car has little chance of ever getting to the conveyor.
The new Mercedes S-Class sedan continues to appear in the news feeds. We will remind, recently Mercedes-Benz introduced its flagship model, which in many respects repeated its predecessor. The Germans showed a luxurious and high-tech “four-door”. The novelty could also try on a coupe body. Instagram account j.b.cars shows what would come of it.
Here we see a reimagined and official S-class. To turn the sedan into a coupe, the renderer removed the B-pillar and reduced the number of doors to two. They became longer, while the roof line turned out to be smoother. The coupe also got a double exhaust, a more compact rear window, retouched fenders, etc. All this made the Mercedes S-Class sportier.
Such a car will remain in the picture and will not become serial. Earlier it was reported that the Germans are abandoning the Mercedes S-Class Coupe (and Cabriolet).
For example, the automaker previously announced that both models will be phased out after the 2021 model year. In the meantime, the S-Class coupe and convertible are still available for purchase. The Germans decided to abandon the two-door S-class and other similar models for at least two reasons. The first is the bloated model line, and the second is the growing popularity of SUVs.
Meanwhile, the new generation of Mercedes-Benz C-Class was spotted without a camouflage film. The car was caught near a German brand plant. Despite not the best quality, we managed to see interesting details.
