Journalists captured the prototype of the updated Rolls-Royce Ghost premium sedan. Despite the fact that the car does not seem much changed externally, from a technical point of view it can be said to be a completely different car. Presentation of new items is expected next year.

The new Rolls-Royce Ghost will take an evolutionary step in design. Despite the fact that the seen prototype of a luxury British sedan is covered with a fairly large amount of camouflage, you can see that its exterior has not changed much even compared to the version of the car that was introduced ten years ago. But at the same time, there are some changes in the appearance of the car.

For example, Rolls-Royce branded vertical radiator grille with a vertical column now looks a little bigger – apparently large grilles are the current trend in the current automotive industry. It is also worth noting the larger ventilation holes that appeared in front of the machine.

The smooth roof line is maintained, but the rear pillar and side window are now more vertical. Camouflage film still hides the details in the rear of the car well, but it seems that this prototype has already received serial headlights and taillights. Again, the changes in the style of the car are minimal, no, of course they are, but there are quite a few of them. In short, if you like the current version of the Ghost sedan, you will probably like the new version.

There are much more changes in the technical plan – the novelty is built on a completely different platform, on the basis of which the updated Phantom limousine and Cullinan crossover are also based. The interior of the British sedan will also be updated, it is worth noting the digital screen of the dashboard, the devices on which are drawn so that they accurately repeat their counterparts in earlier models of the brand, and next to it there will be an infotainment system display. Rumors say that the updated Rolls-Royce Ghost will receive a large number of new technologies, including an autonomous driving system.

So far, there is little information about the composition of the motor range of the luxury news, but it is assumed that customers will also be offered a 6.5-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine. It is also possible the appearance of a fully electric performance model.
