The prototype of the updated Renault Megane again seen on testsJune 20, 2019
Today we present another set of “spy” photos with an updated Megane hatchback – one of the most popular brand models on the European market. An updated hatchback may be displayed this fall. Sales should begin by the end of the year.
Renault is very busy these days. The brand is testing several updated models – their official presentation is expected at the end of this year and even in 2022. In addition, she recently released a number of new cars, including the second generation Zoe electric car, the Triber compact van, which is designed for India, as well as the restyled version of the Koleos crossover.
Earlier this week, images of the hybrid version of Megane were already appearing on the network, but these photos seem to capture the usual version of the car. The prototype still wears camouflage in front and behind, and a strange exhaust pipe is still built into the rear bumper. We assume that there is an additional exhaust filtration system that is being tested.
The revised front of the car is well hidden under the camouflage film, but we expect the Megane to get a slightly more noticeable grille and revised headlights. There seems to be some minor changes to the bumper in the back, as well as new graphics for the rear lights.
On some photos you can see that the dashboard in the cabin is still disguised. Frankly, we do not expect any major changes in the interior, but Renault can equip the car with new options, such as an updated version of the infotainment system.
