The prototype of the updated hatchback Hyundai i10 is seen on the testsJune 17, 2019
The South Korean new model year 2020 will be slightly similar in appearance to the new and more expensive Sonata model.
The prototype of the next generation South Korean baby Hyundai i10 was seen on testing – “spy” photos were published by foreign publications a few minutes ago. I must say that the car began to look much better than its predecessors.
Hyundai decided to design the city’s Hyundai i10 avtomobilchik in full accordance with the new style of design, this style underlies the recently introduced Sonata sedan.
The Hyundai i10 will get a hexagonal grille, just like its much bigger brother and similar front optics. Surely the aggressive grid pattern that is used on the new Sonata is unlikely to be used on the updated Hyundai i10.
The South Korean baby seems longer and a little wider than the model that is still for sale, and we assume that it will have a positive impact on the amount of free space in the cabin, especially in the rear seats. The rear part of the car is heavily masked, and so far we can not say anything about its design, except for the fact that the rear lights are equipped with LED brake lights.
On the Old Continent, you can order the current version of the i10 hatchback with one of two naturally aspirated engines, but we expect that the new model will receive a 1.0-liter turbo engine from Kia Picanto with a capacity of 100 horsepower (172 Nm). A new automatic transmission to replace the current four-speed automatic gearbox would be a welcome addition.
