The prototype of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 was spotted at the Nürburgring.October 17, 2018
A closer look at the GLC mid-size crossover still reveals some new elements – there are revised headlights similar to those with the “charged” AMG GT and CLS-Class. Branded for the Mercedes-AMG false grille Panamericana apparently also received some updates.
I am glad that on both versions of the German novelty there is very little camouflage film – it covers only the front and back of the observed test prototypes.
Apparently change the appearance and the front bumper. Apparently, the back of the coupe-shaped version of the high-performance crossover will still get more changes – it is the “backdrop” of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe that is almost half covered with camouflage film. While in the normal performance of the car, the film covers only the lights, and the lower part of the rear bumper. Looking closely, you can understand what will change in particular the design and the diffuser.
Now with regard to changes in the engine compartment of the “charged” German cars. We believe that the motor range should remain unchanged. The usual performance of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 will still be offered with a 469-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, while the coupe-shaped version will get a 503-horsepower version of the same engine.
Finally, we note that most likely, both German news will be presented early next year.
