A new “spy” video, which turned out to be at the disposal of our publication a couple of minutes ago, shows a test prototype of the Audi RS Q3 hot crossover, which passed high-speed tests at the Nürburgring.

Earlier we saw a lot of spy shots of the brand new RS Q3. The prototype from this video, which received a license plate HN QV 292, was also seen several times. Unfortunately, this time the company’s engineers did not remove the camouflage from their high-performance crossover. The only significant difference compared to the previous shots is the fact that there are many dead bugs on the bonnet and windshield, which hints at a significant number of laps that this car overcame within one test run.

It is reported that the RS Q3 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine Audi.

Judging by the sound of the engine in this video, these assumptions are accurate, because the crossover can boast a rather impressive noise of its power plant. Rumors suggest that the maximum power will be about 400 horsepower or even 414 hp Exhaust fumes come out through a pair of large oval tubes.

RS Q3 will have a complex all-wheel drive system for a quick start and confident acceleration. Large brake discs with large calipers will help the crossover to brake in time. The ride height is also lower than that of the standard Q3.

A powerful SQ3 will be shown to me this year, so it can be assumed that the RS Q3 will not be available until 2020.
