Porsche has launched a mobile application that allows through augmented reality to study the electric prototype Mission E. The program is available for gadgets on the Android and iOS operating systems.
With the help of the application it will be possible to embed the Mission E layout, for example, in the living room or on the platform in front of the garage. The program also gives an opportunity to study the technical device of the concept car with the X-ray effect, change the color of the car body and look at its interior.
Together with this, users will be offered to conduct a virtual test drive of the prototype, but how this will be implemented is not specified.
The prototype Porsche Mission E debuted in 2015. The concept car was completed with two electric motors, the total output of which exceeds 600 horsepower. From a place to a hundred kilometers per hour, the electric car accelerates in 3.5 seconds. The maximum reserve of the concept car is 500 kilometers.
The automaker has already officially confirmed the release of the serial version of Mission E. The project will be spent 700 million euros, and the electric vehicle will be launched by 2020.
