The most famous project Bloodhound managed to find a new owner. Apparently, the fastest car will be completed and will be able to set an absolute speed record.

The leaders of the Bloodhound Program Ltd project released a statement saying that several stakeholders contacted them. One of these parties, a Yorkshire entrepreneur Ian Warhurst, has now acquired the assets of the project and intends to continue it.

“We were amazed at the passion of the new owner for the Bloodhound, and we are glad that we could find a buyer who can give our car a chance for the future,” – Sheridan said. “Ian has a lot of experience in managing very successful projects in the automotive sector, and he detailed share his plans for the project early next year. ”

“We also especially would like to thank the Ministry of Defense and Rolls Royce for their support and cooperation throughout this time, without which it would be impossible to continue the project,” – he added.

Note that the Bloodhound Program Ltd was founded in 2007 with the aim of overcoming the barrier of 1000 miles per hour (1609 km / h). At the test race, we managed to overcome the 500 m / h (805 km / h) mark. An attempt to establish a record was supposed to pass in 2020.
