The production of the updated Bentley Bentayga has startedJuly 21, 2020
The Bentley facility in Crewe, UK, has begun production of the recently introduced updated Bentayga. This was announced on Monday, July 20, by the press service of the brand.
Bentley noted that the rational provision of social distance due to the revision of some of the assembly workshops at the enterprise has increased the production capacity from 50 to 100%. In turn, wearing masks on the territory of the plant is mandatory.
It should be emphasized that the Bentayga production line employs over 100 people as the vehicle goes through 43 production stages to ensure that the quality of the products will meet Bentley’s standards.
Compared to its predecessor, the restyled Bentayga has a redesigned face, taillights like the Continental GT, and a new interior that has a 10.9-inch infotainment screen, different steering wheel, door cards and seats.
The engine lineup has remained unchanged, but, first of all, models with a V8 engine will enter the conveyor. European customers will receive the updated Bentayga first. By the way, auto deliveries are scheduled for the near future.
In addition, it was recently reported that Bentley has introduced a 4-seater version of the Bentayga. It should be said that the novelty was developed on the wave of the success of the previous four-seater Bentayga model, sales of which accounted for 20% of the total sales of the cross.
