The prices for the Ford Mustang Mach 1 2021 in the are publishedOctober 14, 2020
Data on prices for the new version of the iconic American coupe Ford Mustang has appeared on the web. The new 2021 model year, which received the designation Mach 1, will receive many really interesting features.
Four months ago, Ford unveiled the Mustang sports coupe in a new Mach 1 version, and now we finally know how much it costs. The start of auto sales is scheduled for next spring. The starting price is $ 52,915, which makes the Mustang Mach 1 about $ 9,000 cheaper than the Mustang GT350 and $ 4,000 more than the Mustang Bullitt.
The reason we compare the new Mach 1 to these discontinued versions of the iconic coupe is because it offers the same power as the Bullitt version and a six-speed manual transmission from the Shelby GT350. In addition, the Mach 1 borrows the rear axle cooling system, diffuser and suspension parts from the GT500, which starts at $ 74,095 for 2020.
A ten-speed automatic transmission will be available as an option, which the Bullitt did not have. The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 delivers a healthy 480 horsepower (569 Nm).
The new Mustang Mach 1 will be available with a Handling Package. Available exclusively for the manual transmission version, it increases downforce by 150 percent over the Mustang GT thanks to various aerodynamic components and the addition of wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires borrowed from the GT350R.
Buyers can also opt for an optional exterior kit with red, white or orange accent stripes paired with black stripes on the sides and hood. Several paint finishes are offered, including the Mach 1 Fighter-exclusive Jet Gray, as well as two sets of 19-inch alloy wheels.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the new Ford Expedition will cost significantly less than it is now. The 2021 Ford Expedition SUV will see a significant price cut, judging by the data published in the North American car-ordering service.
