The price of the updated Renault Megane has become knownJuly 25, 2020
After the update, the number of trim levels of the popular car was reduced to two. However, it is worth noting the appearance of a hybrid version.
Renault has announced pricing for its Megane hatchback, which has recently been redesigned. The current cost became known on Friday, July 24th. The dealers of the brand in the UK have two complete sets of the car – Iconic and RS-Line. The most affordable version can now be purchased for £ 20,740
The car has received rich equipment already in the basic configuration – it has headlights with LED filling, a full set of parking sensors, a multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen and built-in navigation. Among the security systems, we note lane control and road sign recognition.
The RS-Line trim will also receive an improved large-diagonal infotainment complex, a powerful 296-horsepower engine, and an extended package of options. The main innovation was the appearance of the E-Tech version, which is equipped with a hybrid power plant from Renault Captur.
Such an engine is based on a 1.6-liter engine and is complemented by two electric motors. Also worth noting is the new clutchless transmission, which provides excellent ride quality.
The power of such an engine reaches 158 hp. On one electric traction, Renault Megane E-Tech is able to overcome 5 km of track, and the maximum speed in this mode is limited to 135 km / h.
Earlier it became known that Renault Zoe became a bestseller in the electric car market in Europe. In the first six months, dealers of the brand sold more than 37 thousand of these cars, confidently ahead of the Tesla Model 3 and the electric version of the Volkswagen Golf.
