Both the coupe and convertible are powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine producing 572 hp. and 750 Nm of torque. The hard-top version can accelerate to 60 mph (96 km / h) in 2.7 seconds, and the “open” version in 2.8 seconds. The maximum speed of both variations is 319 km / h. Together with the engine, an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system function. In turn, the steering on the rear axle helps improve handling.
In the cabin of the novelty, it is worth noting the presence of a 10.9-inch screen of the infotainment complex and sports seats.
In addition, Lightweight and Sport packages are available for the 911 Turbo. The former reduces weight by 30 km by removing the rear seats and some of the noise insulation, while the latter adds SportDesign elements, different trims and new taillights.
The novelty can also be equipped with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, lowered suspension, sports exhaust system, driver assistants such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, night vision and much more.
The cost of a Porsche 911 Turbo in a coupe body starts at $ 170.8 thousand, and in a convertible body – from $ 183.6 thousand. The US has already started accepting pre-orders, and the first deliveries are scheduled for next year.
