The presentation of the off-road version of the KIA Seltos X-LineNovember 21, 2019
The premiere of two concepts took place at the opening auto show in Los Angeles. In addition to the off-road Seltos, KIA also brought the production version of the Seltos to the United States.
At the international motor show in Los Angeles, KIA presented two off-road modifications to the Seltos crossover. So far they are presented as concept cars and received the names X-Line Trail Attack Concept and X-Line Urban Concept. In cars, a brutal appearance can be noted. Noteworthy additional optics on the roof in the style of a safari, as well as a reinforced front bumper with running lights. The vehicle’s ground clearance was 50 mm higher than that of the standard production version and reached 235 mm.
At the same time, significant differences can be found between the X-Line Trail Attack and X-Line Urban – the first is designed for true off-road use, and the second is designed for a combination of urban and suburban use.
Both cars have a 1.6-liter turbo engine with 175 hp. He works in tandem with a seven-band robot and four-wheel drive. The Korean company expects that future production versions of these cars will be able to repeat the success of the Seltos crossover, which received more than 40 thousand orders in the first month and a half of sales.
Meanwhile, the interior of the updated KIA Optima was first shown on the web. The car will premiere on December 12 in South Korea.
