The presentation of the budget analogue of Volkswagen TiguanApril 11, 2020
Roewe RX5 Plus repeats the popular German cross not only externally, but also technically.
Roewe, which is part of the Chinese concern SAIC, spoke about the new RX5 Plus car. At the moment, official dealers of the brand already have a variation of the car called RX5. Externally, the car is very reminiscent of the German Volkswagen Tiguan crossover – this trend is not accidental, since the SAIC chief designer for several years worked at Volkswagen.
The car received a stylish grille, updated head optics and thin yellow stripes on the body, which give the car a sporty look. The car relies on the original 18-inch wheels. The car equipment was rich – we note the most modern multimedia system with a diagonal of 10.4 inches and built-in navigation, ABS, EBD systems, rear-view cameras, tire pressure sensors.
Among the comfort systems, we note the possibility of electric seat adjustment, two-zone climate control and a spectacular panoramic roof in the maximum configuration.
The engine range of the new product will consist of two power plants – a 1.5-liter engine with a return of 169 hp. and a 2.0-liter engine with 220 hp In tandem with the power plant will operate 6-speed manual transmission or 6-band “robot” with double clutch, depending on the selected configuration. Prices will be announced immediately before the start of sales. For the current version of Roewe RX5 official dealers ask 98,800 yuan
