The Portuguese company Adamastor began selling its first model – the mid-engine sports car P003RL. Track model, admitted to public roads, is offered with Ford’s engine – from turbo four to atmospheric V6.
At the heart of the car lies a tubular steel frame, corresponding to the regulations of the FIA, with an independent two-lever front and rear. The car body is made of a composite with the addition of carbon plastic parts. The length of the P003RL is 4200 millimeters, the height is 1200, the width is 1990 millimeters. The weight of the sports car is 850 kilograms.
Motor range is represented by engines ranging in volume from 2.0 to 3.5 liters. They can be combined with a mechanical, robotic and sequential gearbox. The output of the units is not reported, but it is known that the specific power of the sport car varies from 264 to 529 horsepower per ton.
The list of equipment Adamastor P003RL includes adjustable suspension and brakes with six or four-piston calipers.
The Adamastor competitor can be considered a track E 10 from the British Zenos. The sports car is equipped with a 2.3-liter “Ford” turbo-engine EcoBoost, developing 350 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque, and a six-speed manual transmission. The ratio of power to mass at the same time reaches 500 forces per ton.
