The owners of the new Corvette are indignant over the quality of the finishApril 12, 2020
Owners of the new generation Chevrolet Corvette in the LT3 variation complain about the presence of curved seams of the front panel stitching.
Despite the delays caused by the strike of car employees in America, the release of the restyled Corvette model eventually began and the debut cars were already handed over to customers.
At the same time, judging by the profile forum Corvette Forum, the owners of the updated American supercars are indignant over the quality of the interior. After one of the users spoke about his dissatisfaction with the fact that the car has curved seams on the front panel, other owners also began to publish pictures of sloppy stitching.
Ironically, this is found only on the flagship modification of the LT3, costing from 71,945 dollars – its interior is decorated with a stitching from threads of a contrasting shade. The standard variation of the LT1 car, starting at $ 59,995, has threads matching the upholstery, and its owners did not notice such defects.
Nevertheless, if you look at the reviews of the owners, you can understand that not all models in the LT3 variation have curved seams. As noted by GM, they are aware of the problem and the corporation is already determining its cause.
