The biggest problem was with the tailgate – because of the assembly curve, the electric drive cannot lift it. In addition, the owner discovered large scratches on the rims and poorly fixed interior elements. There were traces of paint on the door cards and the front panel, and the fabric upholstery on the windshield was badly damaged.
According to the owner, he received his Model Y, using the new contactless delivery service, which appeared due to the coronavirus. For this reason, he was not able to make a claim upon receipt of the car, since there was not a single Tesla employee. The corporation told him that due to the restrictions associated with the pandemic, they will not be able to pick up the car so far to fix all the malfunctions.
At the same time, the owner of the new electric cross-country said that he was still a fan of the American brand, but the corporation should carefully monitor the quality of products.
In the current period, two all-wheel drive variations of the Tesla Model Y are offered. The cost of modifying the Long Range AWD with autonomy of 315 miles (507 km) starts at $ 52,990, and the more productive Performance variant with the same range from 60 990 dollars.
