The owner of a Nissan pickup truck with a millionth mileage presented a new carFebruary 10, 2020
A gift from the Japanese automaker was received by American Brian Murphy, who owns a Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
Nissan representative in the United States gave courier Brian Murphy a Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a new engine. An American will get a car for his old Frontier with a record mileage of more than a million miles. The American office of the brand invited the car owner to a motor show in Chicago, where he was able to configure his new pickup for free. According to The Drive, Murphy opted for the same Nissan Frontier, though with a new engine – a 3.6-liter gasoline V6, combined with 9AKPP. The previous Murphy pickup truck, which showed amazing range, was equipped with a petrol “four” with a working volume of 2.5 liters, working in conjunction with a five-foot manual.
Recall, the current generation of Nissan Frontier in the American market has been known since 2005. Over the years, the model has been updated several times, however, in appearance, today’s pickup is still similar to the first cars sold 15 years ago. A brand new truck in the United States is expected only in 2021.
Brian Murphy told reporters that he will use the gift for work: he does not plan to join the ranks of senior citizens for another six years at least.
Motorists do not need expensive options, but he is thinking of ordering a reinforced suspension. Body color may be dark blue. The million-mileage pickup will be on display at the Nissan Corporate Museum in Tennessee. Recall, Nissan Frontier with a new engine will begin to be delivered in mid-spring. Murphy will be included in the list of first recipients of new items.
