A replica of the Italian supercar Ferrari F40 put up for sale
On the site Craiglist appeared an announcement about the sale of a replica of the Ferrari F40, built on the basis of the sedan Nissan Sentra model 1990. “Supercar” received a completely new body, the dimensions of which correspond to the original car, bucket seats and a sports steering wheel. The price is 5800 dollars.
Information on technical changes on the site is not provided. The donor machine – Nissan Sentra – was equipped with a 1.6-liter inline four with a capacity of 90 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The box is a five-speed manual transmission. The Ferrari F40 was equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine with a volume of 2.9 liters, the output of which was 478 forces and 577 Nm of torque.
Earlier on Craiglist put a replica of the “Batmobile”, the design of which uses carbon fiber. The car was equipped with a 5.7-liter atmospheric V8 engine, automatic transmission, hydraulic braking system, and rear shock absorbers for greater comfort while driving.
Last year, the same site was trying to sell a hot rod Toyota Hilux. The car with a 5.3-liter V8 engine was estimated at 10 thousand dollars.
