The guys from the Royalty Exotics team from the YouTube channel of the same name posted a very interesting video. They decided to test not the latest version of the French Bugatti Veyron hypercar. The measurement results are impressive.

Having removed the rear half of the body from the French Bugatti Veyron hypercar just for fun, the guys from the Royalty Exotics team go to Las Vegas (USA) to check the supercar on a professional dyno stand. And I must say that the measurement results, amazing despite the fact that this is far from a new car.

On paper, Veyron has 1,001 horsepower, powered by its monstrous 8.0-liter W16 twin-turbo engine. The maximum torque is 1250 Newton meters.

The guys spend three races on the dynamometer stand, and the best indicators are 897 horsepower and 1232 Nm of torque. According to the specialists of the company Dynojet, which introduced the dyno stand for use, it is safe to say that the all-wheel drive Bugatti Veyron has mechanical power losses of about 20 percent. Thus, the total power is fantastic 1076 hp. (1479 Nm).

Another interesting thing that happens during measurements on the dyno-stand is that the red Veyron reaches a speed of 322 km / h, standing motionless on the dyno-stand.

┬áRoyalty Exotics team plans to give even more power to the standard 8.0-liter Veyron engine – for this they will install a more efficient Ryft exhaust system. This simple, but probably rather expensive improvement should provide an increase in engine power by 10-15 percent, which should lead to a total figure of 1180 hp.
