The official sketch-teaser of the new generation Corvette coupe is publishedMay 8, 2019
Published by the press service of the American automaker 30-second video gives us the opportunity to look at the official teaser of the long-awaited news. We already know that the new generation of the sports coupe under the internal designation C8 will be shown on July 18.
Last week, the press service of the American brand Chevrolet published the first official teaser for the new generation of the mid-engine Corvette sports coupe. Despite the fact that the published video did not specifically say anything about the car, except that the automotive media and VIPs are invited to the cherished event, we know where the show will take place. The car will be shown in Southern California (USA). The only thing we do not know is how the car will look like, but in the above-mentioned video teaser, there can be hidden real design sketches of the new C8.
The 30-second video is filled with “hidden” images that appear in just a fraction of a second, showing previous Corvette prototypes and various racing cars.
At the 14-second mark, you will notice some wavy lines on the racetrack that appear and disappear quite quickly – pause the video in this place, and you find that these white marks are in fact new design sketches. We have them in the gallery below, enlarged and turned upside down to show the sketch in its usual form.
Nevertheless, the lines that we see here have a considerable resemblance to many of the “spy” photos and images that we have seen in the last four years, watching the development of the C8 generation.
