The official sales date of the new Toyota Wildlander crossover is announcedApril 7, 2020
In late February, the Japanese company began accepting orders for its new car. Since then, everyone has been waiting for the first copies to arrive at customers.
Toyota shared information about the start of sales of its new Wildlander crossover. The first buyers to place an order will receive cars on April 25th – such data came from the official representative office of the brand. The car largely repeats the fifth-generation RAV4 crossover, which debuted last year. However, the Wildlander is 65 mm longer – its dimensions are 4665x1855x1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2 690 mm.
Buyers can choose one of two power plants. The basic version offers a 2.0-liter engine with a return of 171 hp, and a hybrid power plant consisting of a 2.5-liter aspirated engine and an electric motor with a total return of 222 hp will be available in maximum configuration.
Together with the engine on a non-alternative basis, a stepless variator is offered. In the basic version, front-wheel drive, but for an extra charge, an all-wheel drive option is also possible.
Note that Toyota offers customers three different all-wheel drive options, one of which is innovative – a separate electric motor is used on the rear axle. The starting version at Chinese dealers costs 171,800 yuan, and for the maximum configuration you will have to pay 241,800 yuan
