It works in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This combination allows the pickup to gain the first 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 200 km / h.

The engineers also worked on the chassis – the car’s frame received even stronger steel. According to the assurances of experts, now the pickup is ready to withstand even jumps. Special off-road tires complete the off-road look. Note that the clearance of the RAM TRX reaches 300 mm, and the height of the wheels is 35 inches.

Engineers have also taken care of different driving modes – Normal, Snow, Rock, Mud and Sand options will be available and will suit different types of surfaces and road conditions.
Another feature is the new adaptive dampers, which significantly increase comfort and extend the life of the vehicle, even in the most challenging conditions. RAM has not forgotten about the premium interior design – the pickup gets an excellent acoustic system, a spectacular panoramic roof. RAM TRX was equipped with a state-of-the-art infotainment complex in the form of a vertical tablet, as well as an informative instrument panel.

Pre-order for the car may open on August 18, and the first copies are planned to be handed over to the owners by the end of the year. The circulation of RAM 1500 TRX will be 702 copies, and the cost of the basic version will be 69,995 USD

Earlier on tests noticed a prototype of a pickup truck Ford F-150 Raptor 2021 model year. Photospies report that the sound of the powerful V8 engine was clearly audible during the tests. This engine was previously in the Ford F-150 lineup, but disappeared from it in 2017.
