The next generation SUV Nissan Armada / Patrol is sure to appearNovember 2, 2019
As the chief designer of the Japanese automaker said, the full-size SUV Nissan Armada / Patrol will definitely get the next generation. But we will not see him anytime soon.
In September this year, Nissan released an updated version of its Patrol SUV (pictured), also known as Armada in some car markets. Sales of cars 2020 model year should begin in the near future.
In a recent interview, Japanese brand chief designer Alfonso Albaisa confirmed that the Japanese automaker’s design team has already begun work on some future Nissan models. One of them is the next generation Nissan Patrol.
“We have a Nissan Patrol. This is one of the oldest names in the world. He is 70 years old and we will continue to develop this beautiful SUV, ”said Albaisa.
However, Mr. Albaisa did not disclose (or even hint) the date of the next-generation Patrol presentation. But, given that the Albayza team is only at the first stage of design development, it may take two or three years before we see the serial version of a full-size SUV.
The current Nissan Patrol / Armada (Y62 generation) has been on the automotive market for almost 10 years – it was first shown in this form in 2010. Be that as it may, Nissan has done a great job in its recent update, providing the SUV with more premium features, technology and slightly changing its exterior / interior appearance.
And yes, it is reported that the next Patrol will be developed along with the next version of the Mitsubishi Pajero SUV.
