The new Volkswagen T-Roc crossover entered the TOP-10 in the European marketJune 3, 2020

The best-selling cars on the European market in April 2020 became known. European buyers prefer compact cars rather than large crossovers. It is noteworthy that four positions in the TOP-10 went to Volkswagen brand cars. The leader of the rating was Volkswagen Golf with a result of 7,810 cars sold, which is 78% lower than last year’s result for the same period. The second position goes to the Czech liftback Skoda Octavia, which was chosen by 6,529 buyers (-67%).
The Bronze rating goes to the compact Renault Clio, which was sold 6,370 times (-79%). Fourth place goes to the American Ford Focus – European dealers of the brand last month were able to sell 4,971 cars (-76%). Supplements TOP-5 Opel / Vauxhall Corsa with an indicator of 4,198 sold cars (-75%). On the sixth line is the compact Peugeot 208 (4,141 units, -79%). Behind it is the most popular crossover in the EU countries – Volkswagen Tiguan (4 111 units, -78%).
The traditionally popular in Europe Toyota Corolla sedan took eighth line with the result of 4,006 sold cars (-65%). Business sedan Volkswagen Passat was in ninth place with an indicator of 3,968 cars sold (-66%). The TOP-10 is closed by the compact Volkswagen T-Roc cross, which was chosen by 3,840 European residents (-78%).
