A rear door of options may be opened to an angle of 270 degrees.
“The car is available in four basic models and 69 versions,” – said Dr. Eckhard Scholz, CEO of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Speaking of the external dimensions, the Volkswagen Crafter cargo van version has three options for length (5986 mm, 6836 mm or 7391 mm) and three versions of height (2355 mm, 2590 mm and 2798 mm). Rear rigid axle is available in five variants and the rear suspension on parabolic springs is progressive elastic elements in some versions.

Pre-orders for the new Volkswagen Crafter will start at dealers in November 2016. Since mid 2017 Crafter will be available with all-wheel drive 4MOTION, and in the version with rear-wheel drive and longitudinal engine layout.
