The prototype of the new Toyota Supra lost control on the section of the Döttinger Höhe track and crashed into the bump. As a result of the incident, the driver of the sports car did not suffer
On the “North Loop” of the Nurburgring, a prototype of the Toyota Supra of the new generation was involved in the accident. The car damages the bodywork and the rear suspension is broken.
According to the website Carscoops, published photographs of the broken car, the accident occurred on the final line Döttinger Höhe, where cars accelerate to near maximum speed.
According to the source of the publication, Supra for an unknown reason so far lost control and crashed into the bump on the right side of the route. Then the car flew to the left side of the road and stopped. The driver of the sports car was not injured, but the car could not continue on its own – it had to be taken away on the tow truck.
The public debut of the prototype of the new Supra took place in July at the Festival of Speed in British Goodwood. The car, still hidden by camouflage, was equipped with a three-liter six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 340 horsepower (500 Nm) and a robotic gearbox with two clutches.
