The new SsangYong Actyon has acquired a powerful turbo engine and has become more affordableAugust 21, 2019
The new generation of this crossover in the home market has received a new budget modification with a gasoline engine. Recall that Korean motorists know this model under the name “Korando.”
SsangYong has released a more affordable version of the next-generation Actyon crossover. This SUV, which replaced the generation, entered the South Korean market in February this year. Then, local motorists were offered the SsangYong Korando / Actyon with a new 1.6-liter 136-hp turbodiesel. Now this SUV has got a modification with a gasoline supercharged engine, which has noticeably cheaper. We are talking about a one and a half liter gasoline “turbo four” with a return of 170 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive can be either front or full.
For comparison, a European SUV produces the same engine with 163 hp. The previous turbodiesel has not gone anywhere and is still available for purchase.
For the new SsangYong Actyon with a gasoline engine under the hood, you will have to pay from 22,560,000 won. This is 7.5% cheaper than a diesel crossover. The list of options for this cross includes LED head optics, rear LED lights, virtual dashboard, atmospheric interior lighting, intelligent cruise control, collision avoidance system, etc.
