At the BSDA exhibition in Romania, dedicated to equipment for military and special services, was introduced a special modification of the crossover Dacia Duster of a new generation – on caterpillar traction. This is reported by the publication Autoevolution.
According to the developers, such a car, put on new rubber rollers, is intended for use in agriculture, medical services and the hotel business. The conversion of a standard crossover to a crawler traction will cost 10,700 euros. Work to replace rollers will take no more than one hour.
Dacia Duster of the second generation debuted in September 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and its analog with the Renault badge was introduced two months later. The crossover was based on a slightly modified platform of the predecessor.
In Europe, the Duster is available with a 1.6-liter 115-hp atmospheric engine, or with a 1.2-liter supercharged engine with 125 horsepower. Among the diesels – aggregates with a working volume of 1.5 liters, developing 90 and 110 forces. Transmission – manual or automatic with two clutches.
