The new Porsche 911 Turbo lost its camouflageJanuary 25, 2018
Photoplayers found a test prototype of the new generation Porsche 911 Turbo in the body of 992 on the city roads in Germany, deprived of practically all camouflage. Thanks to this, it was possible to find out a lot of information about the exterior of the novelty. Photos of the novelty are laid out in a video on the Youtube channel AutoNews Creative.
Of course, the silhouette of the body of the new Porsche 911 remained recognizable. Conventional car enthusiasts will find that the body panels have not been changed. After all, the front bumper has the same double horizontal LED lines of daytime running lights, combined with repeaters of turn signals. In the rear wide wings are still the air intakes of the usual form.
Most changes are noticeable from behind. The lanterns received a common horizontal line of brake lights, like those of Cayenne and Panamera. The wing is in its place. But the tips of the twin exhaust system pipes have lost their oval shape. Now they are trapezoidal.
It is expected that in the salon the instrument panel will receive one analog round tachometer and two digital displays on the sides. Infotainment system will be equipped with the same wide display, as the other cars of the brand.
Version Porsche 911 Turbo should be equipped with a six-cylinder engine with a double turbo-supercharged capacity of 600 horsepower, which is 60 hp more than the current version. The power of the Turbo S version of the new generation will increase to 630 hp. From the soft hybrid power plant they refused to maintain the low weight of the sports car.
