The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS was once again able to capture during the test. According to the portal Car and Driver, on Saturday, April 11, the car will be able to develop approximately 500 hp.
So, the novelty will receive a 4.0-liter 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, like the 718 Cayman GT4, to which it produces 414 hp. At the same time, for the GT4 RS, the German manufacturer will increase the power of this power unit to 500 hp.
At the same time, the new model will acquire other changes. For example, it will become lighter than the current model, and will also receive upgraded brakes and suspension components. As for the transmission, nothing is known about it yet.
In turn, the Cayman GT4 is offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, but this year the PDK robotic transmission should appear. It is assumed that the Cayman GT4 RS will be equipped only with a “robot” PDK.
