The new Nissan Z shown on render imagesApril 21, 2020
Designers introduced a novelty in retro style.
A long hood, a short cab and a whole stylish kit – the Nissan 240Z (or Fairlady Z / S30 in other markets) is considered one of the most beautiful cars ever created. This is the first generation of Nissan coupes, also known as Z cars.
Only this year, there were reports that the successor to the Nissan 370Z will receive a retro style inspired by the 240Z. This is good news, considering how well the original Z car is designed.
California-based designer Leyang Bai took advantage of this inspiration and created his own look at the 370Z successor and posted it on his Behance page. The presented model is called 480Z.
Images were created in four stages, which in total took 294 working hours. It should be noted that the car shown in the images perfectly combines retro replicas with the modern design language of Nissan. Experts say that if the 2022 Nissan 400Z looks somehow close to this renderer, it has good chances of reviving falling sales in the United States.
Recall that according to unofficial information, the new Nissan Z can get a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 from the Infiniti Q60 with 400 horsepower and 475 Newton meters of torque. In this case, the unit can be combined both in the “automatic” and with the manual transmission, which will be available as an option.
The premiere of the 370Z successor is due to take place over the next 12 months, but due to the current coronavirus pandemic, deadlines may be delayed.
