The new Nissan 400Z again shown on renderingsApril 29, 2020
Designers continue to work on visualizations of the 370Z successor.
Nissan may be in a difficult position right now, but there are signs that the new Z is still on the agenda. Recently, the company issued a trademark with an updated Z logo, as well as an updated corporate badge, which suggests that the successor to the aging 370Z is high on the list of priorities. Although this may not seem like a wise business idea, given the relatively small volume of Z, it will help improve Nissan’s image, which has been hit hard in recent years.
It is estimated that the new rear-wheel drive coupe, rumored to be called the 400Z, will be released within the next 12 months, although it may be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although the reports say that its design will have the features of the Datsun 240Z, in the end, we still do not know whether this is true or how retro effects will be adapted to the present.
Designer Maxim Shershnev showing his eyes on the new product, presenting the 400Z in road and track configurations with a retro-futuristic look and the generous use of carbon fiber. Naturally, this version is more radical, because it offers convex wheel arches and an aggressive duct, and polycarbonate is used instead of side glass to reduce weight.
It goes without saying that this is just a fan rendering, which is more wishful thinking. However, it is difficult not to note that the presented car in the images is very good.
