The new McLaren GT supercar will be unveiled at events throughout EuropeJune 23, 2019
British brand McLaren is going to hold a series of presentations of its new Grand Tourer class model (a large car on which to travel) throughout Europe. This is the first such model of the company.
Fans of the brand from the UK, as well as its potential customers are invited to check out the new car in action, and during the global European tour.
“McLaren GT has been designed for long journeys, so the global presentation of our new car on the European continent is fully in line with our exciting new model, which will open our brand for an important sector of the high-performance car market.” This was said David Gilbert, managing director of the company in Europe.
“We would like to invite loyal customers and fans of McLaren to visit us in the summer Grand Tour of McLaren GT, which will be a great opportunity to admire the elegant design of the new car, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the entire McLaren lineup.
The new McLaren GT has received an average engine location, which makes it different from all similar cars. The luggage compartment (located in the front and rear) has a volume of 570 liters, and the cabin has comfortable seats and improved sound insulation, which makes the car quieter than the Aston Martin DB11 at high speeds.
The novelty received a 4.0-liter V8 with a power of 620 horsepower. This allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h from zero in just 3.2 seconds, and its top speed is 326 km / h.
In addition to the GT, the company’s events throughout Europe will feature the 570S model, as well as the recently shown 720S Spider and hardcore McLaren Senna.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that a prototype of a hybrid McLaren 720S was seen on the test.
