The new Lexus RC F looks like a small LCJuly 24, 2018
Smooth headlights and new rims give the charged RC F 2019 model year the same looking as its younger brother – the LC coupe. Perhaps, the official presentation of the car will be held at the Paris Motor Show, which in turn will take place in September 2018.
The high-performance version of the Japanese compact coupe Lexus RC F has not seen any changes since its appearance in the distant 2014. And finally, the car, which is a direct competitor to the German M4, waited for the update.
A couple of hours ago published spy photos of Lexus RC F, which will be positioned as a 2019 model year car. It is noteworthy that the Japanese novelty, which was seen on public roads, was very little camouflaged – only in front and behind.
After a closer look at the pictures presented, we can say that most of the car has not changed, which means that the model will receive minor external changes.
The headlights, although almost completely covered with camouflage film, seem to have a smoother shape that resembles the headlights of the LC coupe. Because of the film, you can not see the brand LED driving lights in the form of a tick.
A fairly large radiator grille has received an updated lower part, which gives it a sharper look. The rims, which are completely new to the Lexus RC F, also look like the older LC coupe. The rear lights are unfortunately closed with a film, but despite this you can see that they also received a small update.
As for the composition of the engine range, one should not expect any serious changes. The Japanese coupe will probably receive the same 5.0-liter V8, which now produces 467 horsepower, although it is possible that this engine will receive a small increase in power in the new version.
Not so long ago it became known that all future models of the sports Lexus F series will become hybrids.
