The new Land Rover Defender has appeared on an exclusive rendererMarch 3, 2019
In anticipation of the Land Rover Defender presentation, Motor1.com’s designers decided to create a render of the legendary car.
It is already known that the new Defender will be an entirely new product, and the British brand has already recognized that it will try to attract new customers to the brand. This basically means that the design will not be as “rough” as the original, but will incorporate the lines of future models of Land Rover
At first glance, it’s clear that the car will still be easily known as the Defender, but the front grille will look like Range Rover and Discovery. LED headlamps from more expensive models will become optional equipment, and in the standard, according to expectations, will be halogen lamps.
The renderer depicts a two-door version, which should get the best off-road properties. Its short beasts, coupled with a suspended suspension, will allow the car to cope with steep hills, snow, sand and dirt.
In the beginning, under the hood, should restore 2.0-liter turbodiesel, which will be supplemented by a hybrid power unit later. It will be interesting to see what power will be offered to other markets where the model should appear in 2020.
It is expected that Defender will also receive a longer five-door version, which will have much more space in the cabin. In addition, a pickup version may appear, but has not yet been verified.
