The new Lamborghini supercar was shown on videoMarch 26, 2020
As planned by the company, the debut of the new items will take place only in the summer of 2020, but the coronavirus can change plans.
The Italian automaker has published a teaser video on the web, which demonstrates the testing of a new track sports car. The model is called Lamborghini V12. The company emphasized that the testing of new items was carried out before the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy.
The development of new items is a division of Lamborghini Squadra Corse, which is assisted by specialists from the Centro Stile design center. As befitting a car with such a status, the supercar will be released in a limited edition – only 40 copies.
It is known that the Lamborghini V12 will be built on the basis of the Aventador model. Distinctive features of the new items will be a large carbon wing, double air intakes, carbon monocoque and aluminum subframe. Under the hood, there will be a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with a capacity of 830 hp.
According to unofficial data, the engine will work in conjunction with the six-speed sequential Xtrac transmission. Also, the novelty will be equipped with an innovative self-locking mechanical differential.
