As part of the meeting of Kia Motors America dealers, the Korean media managed to find out some details about the new Kia Stinger.
Kia announced the debut of the Kia Stinger for the South Korean market back in August, but there are still few details on the model. However, the specialists of The Korean Car Blog managed to find out some information about the new product. The biggest news for the American version of the Stinger is the arrival of a new 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that will replace the base 2.0-liter from the current Stinger. Accordingly, the power of the unit will also increase – from 252 hp. up to 300 hp
The Stinger GT will receive a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6. Its power has increased slightly – from 365 to 368 hp, but the torque has not changed. The US version of the Stinger 3.3 will also receive a new adjustable exhaust system.
The new Kia Stinger will already be available in the base with LED headlights, which are presented in two versions, depending on the version, just like some Volkswagen models.
The taillights are completely new to all Stinger variants, with a solid LED line running across the entire width of the rear, while the brake lights with a new linear pattern and yellow sequential premium rear turn signals are now LED.
Kia engineers have taken a long time to add a little more luxury to the interior of the new 2021 Stinger. Quilted diamond-shaped nappa leather on the front and back, available in black, brown or red. The US Stinger will also feature a new 10.25-inch infotainment system.
